Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface and gently press the perforations to seal into a single sheet, creating a smooth base for your bunny shapes.
  2. Cut and Shape the Bunnies: Using a sharp knife or cookie cutter, cut the dough into bunny shapes or traditional triangles. For bunny ears, fold or trim small triangles on one end.
  3. Add the Filling: Place a small amount of cheese and a piece of ham or turkey in the center of each dough piece, being careful not to overfill to prevent leakage during baking.
  4. Seal and Brush with Egg Wash: Fold the dough over the filling and gently pinch the edges to seal completely. Lightly brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden, glossy finish.
  5. Add Bunny Faces: Use black sesame seeds or food-safe edible markers to create eyes and noses on each bunny for a festive look, adding decorations after egg wash to avoid smearing.
